St. 菲利普的大学 students engaged with the community to debut a free 干货还是糖果 Halloween Carshow, a pre-Halloween community 事件 Oct. 28 in Parking Lot 9 at the college’s 1801 Martin Luther King Drive location.

Led by members of the college’s Future United Latino Leaders for Change student organization, 的家庭 事件 was a holiday themed display of custom cars 和 bikes along with a costume contest for the kids. On one of the city’s most stable days of the year, children enjoyed the holiday season in magical, glistening broad daylight, listening to the stories told of the cars by their owners in a family-friendly setting with just the right amount of complimentary c和y 和 space to move without feeling crowded upon. Car shows are a staple at the college that is the hub of training for both current 和 prospective technicians in the region’s multibillion dollar transportation sector, 和Oct. 28 project was the first of its type at the 120-year-old college.
